My volunteering experience at IEEE AlexSB and my full story starting from recruitment application
IEEE is one of the largest non-profit organizations dedicated to escalating technology and helping university students to gain technical and soft skills needed. One of the most active branches is Alexandria Student Branch. IEEE AlexSB annually offers many great content courses in mid-year and summer. It does mega-events as ITW, JG, and protons, workshops, seminars, and also visits. It covers all the needs of students and allows them to shine and draw their future.
Before I joined
I attended the ITW event twice in 2016 and 2017. By this event, I knew the team and loved their professionalism and spirit during volunteering and the gain I had from ITW a lot. It opened my eye to the latest technologies and made me curious to know more about them.
When I attended ITW in 2017, I asked a volunteer how to join and she told me to stay tuned for the recruitment form would be open soon. I filled the form, but unfortunately, I was filtered.
In 2018, I empowered my skills and applied again. And why not? many other students dream to join it.
